For over a decade, our founder worked at the intersection of pharma marketing and APP education, watching a pattern repeat itself: pharmaceutical companies poured resources into physician engagement while Advanced Practice Providers—who were writing an increasing share of prescriptions—remained an afterthought.
The turning point came when he saw multiple pharma brands struggle to reach APPs effectively, despite their growing influence in specialty care. Traditional agencies treated APPs as a secondary audience, applying physician-centric strategies that missed the mark. Meanwhile, APP medical foundations were building vibrant communities that pharma couldn't access.
He realized the solution wasn't to add APP tactics to existing agencies—it required a company built exclusively around this audience. Novem was born from that conviction: to be the dedicated APP engagement partner that pharma desperately needed but couldn't find.
